Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Sell&Bill website, web application, and mobile applications (together, the “Services”). Sell&Bill is a product of Dataquant Technologies Private Limited, the data controller for the Services and the entity you are contracting with. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the Services:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, business name, and role.
• Operational data — projects, properties, units, leads, sales, expenses, inventory, and documents you add to the platform.
• Usage & device data — log data, device type, and app interactions used to keep the Services secure and reliable. Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are used.
• Call log (Android app, optional) — if you allow it, the Sell&Bill Android app reads your phone’s call log to record calls with your company’s leads. For each call to or from a lead’s phone number, we store the number, the date and time, the duration and the direction (outgoing, incoming or missed), and show it on that lead to you and your company’s managers. Calls to numbers that are not your leads are never sent to us. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your phone’s settings; the app keeps working without it. The iPhone app does not read your call log.
• Call recordings (Android app, optional) — if your phone’s own dialler records calls and you allow audio access, the app uploads the recording of a call with a lead. It is stored privately and plays from that lead for you, your managers and your company’s owner. Recordings of calls with any other number are never uploaded. The app itself never records a call.

Your data is used strictly to provide our services — account management, ERP optimisation, customer support, security, and product improvement. We process operational data on your behalf as a data processor. We never sell your data to third parties.

We share data only with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and payment processors) who are bound by confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We do not share your business data with advertisers.

We employ industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular backups to protect your sensitive business information. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work continually to protect your data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Delete Account page. Certain records may be retained where required by Indian law (for example, tax and GST records).

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
